Salient features
- Standard diverters use Flaps to divert the fired Materials to the Quenching Tank through a Ventillator fan where a Permanent Storage of Water is Kept to Suppress the fire.
- For Diverters with Large Diameter, due to the heavy suction available in the Pipe, Dampers will be used to drop the fired cotton in Separate Damping Chamber.
- After each Fire Incident, Suppression to be done manually by opening the Damper Plate only.
- While Opening the Dampers, Possible Flying of fired Cotton tuft may increase the Chance of Subsequent Fire to the nearby Machineries.
- A Simple water quenching Diverter will release Water on the Diverted material and Suppress the Fire instantly.
- This will ensure the Fast Quenching as well as the Safety.
